The year 2026 started off fantastically,
An opportunity arose: to participate in the ‘Art for Kep’ initiative with an artist residency sponsored by Kep-West, a partnership with Knai Bang Chatt, a five-star resort situated on 10 hectares of land right in Southern Cambodia.
As a photographer and the founder of Cambodia Photo Tours, and in addition to our regular workshops in Cambodia, I have been making personal ‘Fine Art Photography’ for over more than 10 years. Kep Raw 2026 is an art photography book in magazine format, comprising 84 pages in black and white, published on March 27, 2026. Find a review from Cambodgemag here

I spontaneously walked up to the group of Buddhist novice monks and took 2-3 photos… my first shot was the best.

Black & White Film Photography Workshops in Phnom Penh-Cambodia
“Get to grips with film”
As an addition to our “regular” photo walks.
This film-based photography workshop is a way to create unique images yourself. We offer a full-day course, consisting of an introductory talk about why we want to shoot film, the reasoning behind your selection of film options, etc. You can bring your own films, or we can help you with a few rolls of black and white film for a reasonable price. We even can rent you a Nikon film camera if needed.
Developing and scanning your own film is a fun and immersive experience.
The basic program consists of an introduction, taking photos yourself in and around Phnom Penh, lunch, and then developing and scanning the film yourself.
Take home some prints of your best images of the day is the goal.
